Albania’s UNESCO Sites with Rivers, Valleys and Gorges
“It was my first bike tour. And this is the perfect way to explore the country. I am really impressed. Wonderful country, breathtaking views, warm friendly people and really helpful professional guides. I am absolutely happy that I chose Albania. And of course will continue bike tours to other places as well.”

Apulia and Basilicata: Matera to Lecce
“Our adventure through Puglia was unforgettable! This region offers so much history, culture, and beautiful scenery. Every day of the bike tour was unique and different. It was especially nice to explore this amazing region that I imagine most Americans are not familiar with… Basically, from start to finish, this trip was just perfect and a wonderful way to experience an amazing region of Italy. Grazie!”

Burgundy Wine Trails: Macon to Beaune on the “Voie Verte”
“Perfect way to enjoy the Burgundy region. Experienced a variety of scenery, along a canal, through vineyards and quaint, charming little villages. Being self-guided gave us more flexibility to explore and take advantage of the wonderful food and wines which were always so well presented, matched and served by friendly staff. Being on La Voie Verte was also a plus, well marked and away from traffic. A memorable experience.”

Treasures of the Donegal Coast
“My wife and I decided to try our first biking vacation in Ireland. As we’re both over 60 we found the hills to be a bit challenging at times. But when we needed a rest we’d just stop and be amazed at the views in every direction. From our first ride around Lake Eske to the cliffs near Carrick to the descent towards Ardara, we enjoyed all the memorable stops on our adventure. As another writer encouraged, try to catch some local music. Just excellent!”

Provence by Bike and Boat
“This bike tour will be revisited frequently in our memories. The countryside of Provence in the autumn, with the black bulls, white horses, and rose-colored flamingos, amidst the golden hills and winding river-ways set the scene for fine pedaling. I knew that the food and views of southern France would be amazing. What I had not anticipated was the depth of history and exposure to art that would also surround the ride.”
Highlights of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
This bike/boat trip in Croatia along the Dalmation Coast really broadened my horizons in a region I had never visited. Our two amazing guides met our every need. The boat with exceptionally comfortable cabins is well-maintained by the proud captain and crew, and the meals were exceptional, better than any restaurant. The bike rides on small coastal islands took us through tiny villages, vineyards, and olive groves. I recommend this trip to anybody who is looking for an active vacation, enjoys living on a boat for a week, and loves to bike.”

Venice to Trieste and Istria
“It’s simply a magnificent ride. You begin in Venice, ride along the coast, passing beautiful beaches, going inland through rural farmland, and finally reaching Trieste, an old city that has a lot to offer. And that’s just the Italian portion. For me, the century-old towns of Piran, Slovenia, and Porec, Croatia were magical–adult Disneyland. And riding a bike through a country is simply the best way to connect to the culture, people, and the land. Book this one. You won’t be disappointed.”

Tuscany and Umbria: Cycling in the Heart of Italy
“My husband and I just finished this trip to celebrate 25 years of marriage. It was the perfect, romantic location for this celebration!! The Umbrian countryside is so beautiful: lush green landscape, charming centuries old farm houses. The bicycling is mainly on quiet farm roads, away from car traffic, and takes you from one Etruscan-medieval town to the next. Wandering the cobble-stone paths of the towns is quite a time-transporting experience!”

Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique (and reverse)
“A most delightful week meandering through the countryside in both The Netherlands and Belgium. Fabulous bike trails, perfect weather, great group, and an outstanding tour guide. Exceeded my expectations for sure. The barge was superb, the bikes easy to manage, the briefings each evening were thorough and precise. Simply wonderful experience.”
