Bask in the glory of the Golden Gate Bridge
If you’ve come to San Francisco for the Golden Gate Bridge, look no further! This bicycle tour offers you the must-see views and photo opportunities, with the added benefit of bike rental.
Pushing off from Fisherman’s Wharf, this 3-hour day tour takes you along the National Bike Path, lined by the sublime waterfront, towards the Golden Gate Bridge. You’ll ride along Fort Mason, a historic coastal defense from the civil war jutting out commandingly into the bay, to Crissy Fields. Here, park your bike on the historic airfield for a postcard-perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge. You’ll cycle right over this iconic structure, with opportunities to stop all the way for staggering views and perfect pictures.
Riding down the coast, you’ll arrive in stunning Sausalito, famed for its artistic community and its reputation as a ship-building center in WWII. Now, its waters are graced by rows of yachts and houseboats as the residents keep their maritime history alive. Stay to explore this fascinating city, or return by ferry to Fisherman’s Wharf.

An iconic ride everyone should experiencce
· Scenic Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco Bike Tour
This is a once in a life time city bike ride with views you will never forget. Technically the "bike side" is on the western ocean facing side which I suggest you ride out. Coming back you can slowly weave through the tourists on the eastern side with an epic view of San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz, and the city of San Francisco. For the more intrepid cyclists you can continue on through Sausalito and loop back into Tiburon where you can catch a ferry back to San Francisco passing Angel Island and Alcatraz along the way.
