    • Get inspired by Gaudí

Exuberant, imaginative and colorful: Antoni Gaudí's iconic architecture reflects the spirit of Barcelona itself. Discover both on Gaudí’s Barcelona E-Bike Tour through the Gothic Quarter, Park Ciutadella, the Eixample neighborhood with the striking Casa Milá and Casa Batlló buildings, before arriving at his masterpiece: the soaring Sagrada Família.

You'll start this day tour by cycling through the Gothic Quarter, with its medieval streets and imposing Gothic cathedral. Ride past artisans selling their creations in its shadow and take note of the quaint cafes and trendy Catalan restaurants that line the streets of this neighborhood - you might want to return to after your trip.

Cruise through Park Ciutadella and discover its city zoo. Originally built as a citadel to defend Barcelona in the War of the Spanish Succession, the park is now positively peaceful, and as you ride along the smooth, broad paths the hustle of the city will feel worlds away. Pedal to the park's magisterial fountain, thought to have been partially designed by a young Gaudi.

From here you'll make your way to Gaudí's magnum opus: the Sagrada Família. This cavernous cathedral, which is still technically unfinished, combines ornate Gothic details and fluid Art Nouveau forms to create one of the most arresting feats of architecture in recent centuries. Your guide will explain the history, architecture, and cultural significance of this awe-inspiring structure, which has cemented Gaudí's legacy as one of the world's greatest architects and a pioneer of Catalan Modernism.

You'll then continue your city tour on dedicated lanes through the chic Eixample neighborhood, where the architect lived for much of his life, passing two of his most emblematic buildings: Casa Milá and Casa Batlló. As you ride your guide will share anecdotes from Gaudí's life and provide a deeper understanding of how his personal faith and love of nature influenced his experimental style.

This family-friendly e-bike tour includes bike rental, making it the perfect opportunity to introduce the whole family to the rich artistic and architectural heritage of Catalonia's greatest city, and the artist whose soul-stirring designs earned him the nickname 'God's architect'.

        · Gaudi’s Barcelona E-Bike Tour

Biking is the best way to visit any city and Barcelona is very bike friendly. E-bikes are the future, as I say” people who walk must not know how to ride and if you don’t ride an e-bike you are only getting half the fun”
