The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the city’s most famous symbol and one of the most photographed landmarks in Europe. The tower, built on an unstable foundation, has an incredible four degree lean which began right when it was first constructed in the 12th Century. Let your guide lead you on to the Lungarni for a leisurely ride along the riverfront - as you breathe in the fresh breeze and cast your eyes over varied, beautiful architecture, you’ll feel like you’re gliding between ancient and modern.

Cycle on to the San Gallo and discover a commanding bastion along the city’s ancient walls. Named ‘Tuttomondo’, this exuberant mural was one of the last produced by the American artist before his tragic death from AIDS-related complications in 1990.
