Whether you want a family-friendly afternoon activity, a romantic evening ride, or a city tour with a twist, the Paris Private Bike Tour is the perfect way to see the City of Light. The tour is completely customizable to your interests, so whether you love art, food, history, or something else, your knowledgeable guide will plan the perfect ride through Paris.

If it's your first time in Paris, nothing beats a private bicycle tour to the Eiffel Tower, France's most famous building. Gaze up at its iconic form in the flesh, as your guide describes its transformation in status from critiqued monstrosity upon its completion, to the cultural monument we know today. Also unmissable are the Tuileries Gardens, whose graceful symmetry and statuesque decoration are proof that in Paris, even parks are sophisticated. If you’re eager to see more, allow your guide to combine the tour with tickets to visit monuments like the Arc de Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower – they’ll take care of the arrangements, leaving you to enjoy the ride.

If you fancy a fun French history refresher, stop to marvel at the epic proportions and dignified grandeur of Les Invalides, and visit Napoleon's tomb. Your guide will recount the Emperor's fateful final days, and the eventual completion of his mighty sarcophagus two decades after his death. You could also visit the Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Paris, and the site of many notable public executions during the French Revolution. Your guide will recount the bloody history of the plaza in detail, transporting you to another time in Paris's checkered past.

There's no city more cultured than Paris, and bibliophiles may wish to request a stop at Shakespeare and Company, the iconic Left Bank bookshop where Hemingway, Fitzgerald and Pound congregated in their day, before cycling along the book sellers' stalls that line stretches of the Seine. For the avid art historian, Paris boasts a superfluity of museums and galleries. Let your guide schedule stops at the Grand Palais and Pompidou Center for a ride through the capital's masterpieces.

Paris boasts an inexhaustible variety of sightseeing, and this private guided tour guarantees an unforgettable, tailor-made encounter with your own personal Paris. Your local guide knows the city like the back of their hand, and will be able to provide endless tips and recommendations to keep you busy long after your day tour is finished.

The absolute best thing we did in Paris!

        · · Private Paris Bike Tour

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Christian was a fantastic tour guide-- kind, knowledgeable, fun, gracious, adventurous and so delightful. We were a bit skeptical about how much our 4 boys (ages 9, 13, 15 and 17) would like yet another Paris tour (after a bus tour, boat tour and exploring on foot for hours), but our 4-hour bike tour was an absolute blast. We got to see all of the major historical sights and tourist attractions-- except Christian gave us much more context and fun information. He also took us to some beautiful hidden spots that really captured the essence of Parisian life for locals and some beauty we'd have never found ourselves with a big group. Wish we'd had another day to do a tour to Versailles with biketours.com and Christian.
