    • Enjoy a sunset cycle in the City of Light

There’s no more atmospheric way to experience Paris than an evening bike tour. Glide through the City of Light on the Paris Evening Bike and Boat Tour, with bike rental included. As the sun sets, you’ll make stops at the Louvre Pyramid, Tsar Alexander III Bridge, Les Invalides, Arc du Triomphe du Carrousel, Hôtel de Ville, Place de la Concorde, Place Vendôme, Pont des Arts, Le Palais de Justice, and Île St. Louis, before sailing down the Seine on a River Cruise with complimentary wine.

The guided tour stops at the Louvre, home of the Mona Lisa and the most visited museum in the world. Watch the sunset through the iconic glass pyramids that mark its entrance as your guide describes its labyrinthine layout and the millions of masterpieces within. Ride on to the Tsar Alexander III Bridge, a beautiful feat of Beaux-Arts architecture that spans the Seine. Smile at the cherubs and nymphs that dance upon its arches as you pedal by on this city tour.

Cycling on, you'll spot the gold leaf dome of Les Invalides glinting in the setting sun. Stop to marvel at the epic proportions and dignified grandeur of these buildings, which contain many museums and monuments.

Pedal through the exultant arches of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, built to commemorate Napoleon's military victories, and situated at the end of one of the city's most stately avenues. Stop outside the Hôtel de Ville to learn more about this city hall, which packs quite a political history.

Continue sightseeing at the Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Paris, and the site of many notable public executions during the French Revolution. Your guide will recount the bloody history of the plaza in detail, transporting you to another time in Paris's checkered past. You'll also visit the elegant Place Vendôme on this bike tour, where you'll get a taste of Parisian glamor as you cruise past its luxury jewelry shops and opulent hotels.

Stop at the Pont des Arts, which is laden with lovers' locks and lauded as one of the city's most romantic spots, before continuing your trip towards Le Palais de Justice. Your guide will relay some of the many trials the Palais has seen within its walls, from Royal Courtroom to Revolutionary Tribunal.

The bicycle tour continues to Île St. Louis, one of just two natural islands in the city’s vast river, upon which a church, townhouses, and gardens are clustered. You’ll conclude this guided tour by sailing on the currents of the Seine itself, watching the lights on the banks begin to twinkle as the city’s skyline slides by on the Seine River Cruise.

        Extremely Fun, Knowledgeable Host/Lead

        · · Paris Evening Bike & Boat Tour

This was an excellent start to my trip, and I suggest it as a beginning to any trip here. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun, and kind! Just a joy to be around and learn from. We got to see the major landmarks and hear of such rich history. The Louvre, Eiffel, Notre Dame, Seine, just packed with so much awe! 10/10 recommend! Also, I'm a bigger girl, don't really exercise much aside from swimming, and I was able to keep up with the group, just slowed a bit on the last leg because I thought we were done at the boat trip, but it is very doable for I think almost ANY level of fitness. Walked the bike up two hilled areas and was still able to keep up with the whole group at the time.
