Daily program
Day 1: Trogir – Hvar Island
Individual arrival in Trogir or by plane to Split Airport, which is about 4 miles (6 km) away from the harbor of Trogir. After check-in on the motor yacht between 2-2:30 pm, the first short cruise starts from Trogir to Hvar Island at around 3:00 pm. You'll arrive in stunning Stari Grad, the second-largest settlement on beautiful Hvar, well known for its important harbor.
Overnight stay in Stari Grad.Day 2: Islands of Hvar and Vis (13 miles/20 km)
After breakfast, you'll cycle from Stari Grad to the capital city of Hvar. There'll be plenty of time to visit the replendent Renaissance Square - the star of Hvar town - and to enjoy the view of the impressive Spanish Fortress situated high above the city. Back on board, you'll cross over to the vibrant island of Vis.
Overnight stay on Vis.Day 3: Island of Vis (20 miles/32 km)
Vis, the furthermost island from mainland Croatia, was once a Greek colony called Issa around 2,300 years ago. Due to its strategic location, Vis was a military zone until 1995, with foreign tourists prohibited from visiting. These days, you have the wonderful opportunity to explore this beautiful island by bicycle. Alternatively, there's the option of a 3-hour Jeep tour (not included, approx. 35 Euros). After your cycle, the boat will take you to the captivating island of Korčula.
Overnight stay in Vela Luka.Day 4: Island of Korčula (38 miles/60 km)
Today you'll discover the gorgeous island of Korčula by bike, enjoying a lovely lunch break in one of the local restaurants. The calmness and sense of remoteness produced by the vast vegetation and vibrant cypress gardens give shape to arguably the most beautiful of the Dalmatian Islands. Your bike tour leads you into the village of Blato, evocative of Rome in being built on seven hills, and along a pass road towards Pupnat Bay and finally to Korčula town. Here, you'll have time to walk through the wonderful Old Town with its narrow fishbone-like alleys.
Overnight in Korčula town.Day 5: Island of Brač (28 miles/45 km)
Today we cruise to the island of Brač, which is famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was, among others, used for the White House in Washington or the Reichstag building in Berlin. After an extended swim break followed by lunch, we start our cycling trip in Pučišća. With an initial climb we will be rewarded with fantastic views over the neighboring islands before descending to the harbor of Postira. From here we take the coastal road back to the boat in Pučišća where we spend the night. The quaint harbour town is home to the most famous stone mason schools in Croatia and the works of the students can be seen on display throughout the town. The night is spent in Pučišća.
Overnight in Pučišća.Day 6: Split (Rafting in Omiš) (10 miles/17 km)
During breakfast, the boat will bring you to the grand city of Split. The Old Town, built to adjoin the famous Diocletian Palace, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, full of sensational architectural and cultural treasures. You'll have the choice to take a bus transfer to join a rafting expedition through the Cetina Canyon (not included in tour price) or to explore the wonderful Marjan Forest Park by bike. The rafting group will be picked up from the boat by bus and taken to Omiš for the excursion. From Omiš, you'll follow the river downstream by raft, gaining an enjoyable and unique perspective of the canyon's grand scenery, along with its flora and faua. You'll be brought back to the boat by bus once you've finished your activity.
Cyclists will enjoy a short but scenic bike tour through the green heartland of Split, coupled with an extensive swim break at a stunning local beach. In the evening, once the group has reconvened, everyone can explore the spectacular city of Split.
Overnight stay in Split.Day 7: Island of Šolta (13 miles/20 km)
After crossing to Rogač on the island of Šolta, you'll commence your final cycle tour. Walled fields, aromatic olive groves, locust bean and fig trees line the roads. The fragrances emanating from the lavender and rosemary fields will greet you on the breeze as you bike, proving that a visit to Croatia is truly a delight for all the senses. The boat will await you in Rogač, ready for the last crossing to Trogir where, if time permits, you can take a tour of the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The final evening aboard the ship follows a nice tradition - a communal dinner in a cozy atmosphere where you, your crew, tour guides, and fellow passengers, can share your highlights and memories of this wonderful expedition.
Overnight near Trogir.Day 8: Departure from Trogir
After breakfast, disembarkation by 9:00 am, individual trip home, or extended stay in Croatia.Don't want the adventure to end? Consider taking a cycling day tour in Split or Dubrovnik.
The tour operator reserves the right to make changes to the planned route due to changing wind and weather conditions, and where required by organizational necessities. Should it be the case for example that the harbors on the above-mentioned tour sequence are overcrowded, the tour will be operated in reverse.
Surface and terrain
This cycle tour requires a basic level of fitness from all participants, acquired from spending time on a bike prior to arrival. The routes will go up to a height of 657-1,640 feet (200-500 m) above sea-level, with mileage between 12-38 miles (20-50 km) per day.
The terrain will be hilly and mountainous, but the rides are completed without any time-constraints. There will be some long and steep climbs, during which you can push your bikes. It will primarily take place on asphalted roads, which have very little traffic during the off season.
You can decide each day whether to cycle on your own using the route maps and descriptions, or to cycle with the guide and group. You are also free to stay onboard the boat instead of taking a planned cycle tour.
Guided group pace: On this program, the riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part in these tours on a regular bicycle should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace.
We believe that only children in good physical condition, with previous bike touring experience, and of a minimum age of 16 are able to master the cycle tours on their own strength.
Please note that the minimum height for a rental bike is 1.20 m (4 ft.) for standard bikes and 1.50 m (4.5 ft.) for e-bikes. There is a helmet requirement for all children up to age 16 in Croatia.

Great guides!
Charming small towns, amazing antiquities, gorgeous coastlines! The e-bikes made the climbs easy and there was was only one very rainy day and one very windy day. Otherwise we got lucky with the weather in late October. Mario and Kristopher were knowledgeable, engaging, funny and personable. Throughout Croatia we were treated well. Split and Trogir had good restaurants and nice places to stay before and after our time on the boat. The food on the boat was plentiful, fine. Beds were comfy and private bathrooms worked well for us. The ship’s captain could have taken more direct action when several guests got caught in a current while swimming but our guides prevailed in assisting them. One regret, we were not able to visit Vis due to stormy weather.

A wonderful way to see the islands and small towns
Croatia has always had good reputation for an early and late season vacations. Our trip in mid-May was perfect, the Adriatic was warming up every day and the 75 degree weather was ideal. This affordable trip suppled us with comfortable rooms, a nice dining area and a shaded sunning area on top. The National Parks were beautiful and relatively uncrowded compared to the larger cities and the parks in the rest of Europe. We didn’t know anyone else on the tour when we arrived but soon found new friends for future travel experiences. Our guides were fun and helpful and e bikes made hilly sections much easier to navigate and quality of the bikes were first rate. We look forward to catching another tour on the Magellan or their sister boat in 23!

Island hopping Croatia
The best part of this bike tour was the country, islands, guides and weather. The food was not as advertised ( highlighted a gourmet chef ) The best meals were not on the boat. The guides and scenery were outstanding. The boat was ok. I felt that bike tours did not offer the same service as we would have had if we booked directly. I highly recommend doing a bike tour of the Croatia islands but with a premium boat and a better chef

Another great bike tour
It was a great way to see the southern Croatian islands. The guides were a lot of fun. The boat, the melody was beautiful, the crew was great. And the captain was so nice. The E-bikes are the way to go. It made the tour so much more pleasurable. I've done hills with a regular bike and it was rough But with the EBike it makes the tour fun and still allows you to get a great work out. The islands are so beautiful, and the people were so nice. I'm thinking about doing the northern islands next year.

Over our expectations
This was our first visit in Croatia, and this bike - boat tour really showed us the beauty of the Croation islands. We stayed 7 days at MY Melody, which was a real luxury yacht with big cabins, sundeck, very good staff, and the ship was also very clean.
Cycling routes were quit hard, because they started every day at the same way, right away to the uphill without any warm up. Cycling routes were in a very good condition and there were not much traffic. After the daily ride, they all finished in a long serpentine back to the port. Very nice cycling.
The atmosphere in the villages on the islands is pleasant, we liked it very much.
And last but not least, our very international group was superb, very much joy and laugh every day and all the time.
I think that we seriously consider that in the future we take apart to some other bike boat tour in Croatia, I hope so.

A wonderful experience!
We enjoyed our experience very much! Our seven day tour was very challenging for my athletic husband and me who LOVED my e bike! I couldn't have done the trip with a regular bike due to the elevation and high temperatures during our tour. Don't hesitate to take an bike because you can still pedal and get a workout, but you can also get a boost when you need it on long inclines in high heat conditions.
Croatia is a beautiful country and our tour guides Ielena and Eugen were fantastic! Their knowledge of history and biking helped us to have a thoroughly informative and safe ride. The crew of the boat was very helpful and friendly too.
A couple things to keep in mind is the high heat requires light breathable synthetic fabric ( no Cotten clothing!) and head protection . I would suggest taking electrolyte supplement to add to water and it was difficult to stay hydrated. Perhaps we will travel here again during a cooler season but even so, we thoroughly enjoyed this trip!- What was the date of your tour?
